We are a finance broker, not a lender. We arrange credit with lenders on our panel; the lender, not iLoanU Finance, decides whether to approve your application and sets the terms of your contract.

We help you identify finance options that may suit your needs, prepare and submit your application, and support you through approval and settlement.

We can only recommend products from lenders we are accredited with. Other products may be available in the market that we do not offer.

For regulated consumer credit we make reasonable inquiries into your requirements, objectives and financial situation, verify that information, and assess whether the credit is not unsuitable for you before recommending it.

In most cases you pay us no fee for our service — we are paid a commission by the lender when your finance settles.

Where a broker fee applies (for example, on complex or specialised applications), the exact amount, when it is payable and whether it is refundable will be disclosed to you in writing in a quote before you proceed. You will never be charged a fee you have not agreed to in advance.

Lenders charge their own fees, such as establishment, account-keeping, valuation, early payout and government charges. These are set out in the lender's documents before you sign.

When a loan we arrange settles, the lender generally pays us an upfront commission calculated as a percentage of the amount financed, and in some cases an ongoing trail commission for as long as the loan remains open.

Commission rates differ between lenders and products. The commission we expect to receive on your loan is disclosed to you in writing before your application is submitted.

Our aggregator, Connective Credit Services Pty Ltd, retains a portion of that commission. We may also receive non-monetary benefits such as lender training or professional development.

Commission is paid by the lender, not by you, and does not increase the interest rate or fees on your loan.

Because commission rates vary between lenders, a conflict of interest can arise. We manage this by recommending finance based on your circumstances and the suitability of the product, not on the commission payable.

You are entitled to ask us at any time how much commission we will receive and why we have recommended a particular lender.

We collect personal and credit information to assess and arrange your finance, and share it with lenders, insurers, credit reporting bodies and our aggregator as needed to do so.

If you are not happy with our service, tell us first. Contact us on 0401 786 473 or info@iloanu.com.au and we will acknowledge your complaint promptly.

We will investigate, keep you informed, and give you a written response with the outcome and our reasons, normally within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, or you do not hear from us within 30 days, you can take your complaint to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) at no cost to you.
